Korea-Europe Next Generation Policy Expert Forum: Study Tour to Seoul
The Korea-Europe Next Generation Policy Expert Forum was initiated on 15 October 2015 at Chatham House in London. The forum brought together 15 policy experts based in Europe, who have an interest and expertise in the East Asia region, to provide them with the opportunity to deepen their expertise, specifically on Korea. It enabled participants to engage in in-depth discussions with leading policy-makers and scholars in the field, as well as broaden their network with other policy experts. It also aimed to encourage policy-oriented research on East Asia, particularly the Korean peninsula.
As a follow-up to the forum, Chatham House, in partnership with the Korea Foundation, is organizing a week-long study tour to Seoul for the forum participants to visit policy-makers, journalists and think tanks to discuss topics of mutual interest.
