Korea-Europe Next Generation Policy Expert Network 2016-17: Study Tour to Seoul
Held in partnership with the Korea Foundation, the Korea-Europe Next Generation Policy Expert Network identifies young policy experts from the European Union who demonstrate an interest, and have expertise, in the East Asia region, and provides them with opportunities to deepen their knowledge on Korea-related issues. It provides participants with opportunities to engage in detailed discussions with leading policy-makers and scholars in the field and broaden their connections with policy experts in the Republic of Korea. It also aims to encourage policy-oriented research on East Asia, particularly the Korean peninsula, and collaborative activities among its participants.
2016-17 marks the second year of the Korea-Europe Next Generation Policy Network and comprises a forum in London, which was last held in September 2016, followed by a study tour for participants in Seoul, which will take place from 6-10 March 2017. Participants on the study tour will visit policy-makers, journalists and think-tanks to discuss topics of mutual interest.
