Overview

The speaker will discuss the prospects for unification on the Korean peninsula and the wider implications for peace, security and prosperity in northeast Asia. He will focus on the processes by which unification should be achieved, arguing that this should happen peacefully and gradually, constructed through the accrual of mutually beneficial and reciprocal cooperation between South and North Korea.
