Overview

Jane Kinninmont will share insights learned from her recent visit to Oman, where she led a Chatham House delegation to meet with government officials, the business and diplomatic community, and our own active network. The discussion will focus on the state of the country’s economy, diversification and fiscal challenges, as well as political risks faced by Oman in light of the Qatar standoff and US-Iran tensions.

This webinar is for MENA Programme supporters only and will be held under the Chatham House Rule. All attendees will have the chance to submit questions via a messaging function and in the second half of the event, the speaker will endeavour to answer as many of these questions as possible.

Attendees will be able to watch the webinar from a computer or other internet-ready device and do not need to come to Chatham House to attend.
