NATO's Response to the Changed Security Paradigm
In July 2016, NATO will convene its biennial summit to discuss the current challenges facing the alliance. This summit comes at a crucial time as major security concerns have emerged to both the east and the south of Europe. These threats have materialized in the form of a revanchist Russia, terrorist attacks on NATO members and continuing instability in the Middle East and North Africa.
In anticipation of this summit, Chatham House, jointly with the Center for War Studies at the University of Southern Denmark and the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM), will be convening a two-day workshop to analyse the evolving threats to the alliance, NATO’s capabilities and the future of NATO after the summit.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
