Post-Election Prospects for US Intervention in the Middle East

28 January 2016 - 11:00 to 12:00

Chatham House, London

Dr Richard D. Hooker, Jr., Distinguished Research Fellow, Director for Research and Strategic Support, National Defence University; Director, Institute for National Strategic Studies
Brigadier General (Ret) Peter Zwack, Institute for National Strategic Studies

In light of the recent attacks in Paris, the collapse of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran and the advent of a new US administration, it is likely that a new approach will be taken towards the Middle East by the next US president in 2017.

Dr Richard D. Hooker and General Zwack will bring insider perspectives on the current debates going on in Washington and how such debates will feed into the policy of the next administration.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
