Overview

Faith groups and churches have regularly contributed to peace efforts. Representatives from multiple faiths have been involved in mediation efforts and play a central role in building more inclusive and tolerant societies.

At this event Bishop Carlos Simao Matsinhe, the Bishop of Lebombo, will discuss the work of the Anglican church in addressing fundamental socio-economic problems of inequality and poverty, and how the church is working with other faith groups to strengthen society in Mozambique.
