At this event, the speakers will discuss how the Greek government is responding to the refugee and migration crisis in the Eastern Mediterranean, in particular by examining the implementation of hotspots and relocation mechanisms. The speakers will examine how these mechanisms fit within the wider legal and policy framework, what can be learned from Greece’s experience and what opportunities there are for reform.
