Overview

As Germany marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, this one-day conference will explore modern Germany: its position at the heart of the European Union, its wealthy economy, complex history, and modern cultural identity.

The conference will conclude with a private viewing of the British Museum's new exhibition, Germany: Memories of a Nation

This event is held in partnership with the British Museum and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, London.
