Overview

2015 marks the fifth anniversary of the launch of the renminbi cross-border trade settlement scheme and the issuance of the first dim sum bond.  It is also the year when the IMF will undertake a review of the composition of the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) basket – a potentially major step in the process of recognizing the renminbi as an international currency. Marking this important year, this conference will explore the latest developments in the global renminbi offshore market and discuss whether inclusion in the SDR basket would help support international use of the renminbi and the potential impact on the international monetary system. The event will bring together speakers from across the globe and a range of sectors.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
