Chatham House will be hosting an event at the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict at the ExCel Centre London. The event, part of the Summit fringe, will analyse the experiences of women facing violence in the MENA region post Arab Spring, and explore the effectiveness of individual, community, and government level responses.
The Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict, co-chaired by Foreign Secretary William Hague and Special Envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees Angelina Jolie, will be the largest global meeting on this issue ever convened, with a view to creating irreversible momentum against sexual violence in conflict.
Note that this event is being held at the ExCel Exhibition and Conference Centre, London. Registration will be possible on the door, but to guarantee your place at the event please register.
