This event, held in partnership with the Daiwa Institute of Research, will discuss rising geopolitical and geoeconomic risk and the populist challenge, offering perspectives from the UK and Japan. 

Individual sessions will focus on the global implications of Brexit, Trump's ‘America First’ policy, the North Korean crisis and Russia’s rising ambitions, as well as the economic consequences of populism.
