Chatham House, London

Robert Rubin, US Secretary of the Treasury (1995-99)

Robert Rubin will discuss some of the key elements contributing to risk management and broader economic decision-making, including tail risk, shadow banking and the dangers posed by another economic boom, and will consider how they can be better managed to ensure sustainable economic growth.

This roundtable is part of the US Project’s series on US and European Perspectives on Common Economic Challenges. Conducted with the support of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, this series examines some of the principal global challenges that we face today and the potentially differing perspectives from across Europe and the US.
