Overview

Over the past two decades, South Africa’s international profile and influence has grown considerably. It is the only African state to have become a member of both the G20 and the BRICS, the largest recipient of inward investment in Africa and a major investor in other countries on the continent.

At this event, HE President Jacob Zuma will discuss South Africa’s regional and international priorities, highlighting the importance of international engagements for the domestic economic growth that is necessary for job creation, poverty reduction and lowering inequality.
