Strategy Roundtable: Strengthening Data Sharing for Public Health

23 April 2015 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Chatham House, London

Chair: Professor David R Harper, Senior Consulting Fellow, Centre on Global Health Security, Chatham House

This one-day international multi-disciplinary roundtable aims to develop the guiding strategy for the Strengthening Data Sharing for Public Health project. The meeting is designed to stimulate a high-quality dialogue among experts from a broad range of data-sharing environments to inform our approach to the project and ensure a successful outcome.

Chatham House has commissioned background papers to inform the roundtable and these will be made available on the project’s home page.

In particular, attendees will be consulted on how to best create and communicate the project’s final guidance documents that will address fundamental questions.

The Strengthening Data Sharing for Public Health project, which engages key stakeholders in global health, was launched in October 2014 with the aim of developing guidelines on how to create the right environment for public health data-sharing and achieve good practice.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
