With two rival governments and Islamist militias in charge of Tripoli and Benghazi, Libya may be headed for civil war.

A team from Channel 4’s Unreported World will show clips from their upcoming film, Tripoli Burning, which tells the story of men and women trying to keep Tripoli going day-to-day while the militia battle it out in the oil-rich country.

Against this backdrop the panel will explore the political situation in Libya and the impact this has on the lives of its ordinary citizens.

This event will be followed by a reception.

This event is held in association with Channel 4.

This is an Under 35s Forum event.
