Over recent years, collective labels for various emerging economies, such as BRICS, MINTS, CIVETS and PIGS, have become commonplace in the financial vernacular. But is it viable or even useful to consider the prospects for such diverse economies on a collective basis?

Chatham House will present three distinguished panellists who will consider the metrics by which we understand investment opportunity in emerging markets. Does the uncertainty of today’s world render existing labels and frameworks obsolete? If so, what individual factors should be considered when contemplating investments in some of the world’s major developing economies?

This event is open to corporate members only.

The event will be held under the Chatham House Rule and followed by a reception.

This event is organized in association with AIG.
