As an unconventional and unpredictable primary season for both the Democratic and Republican parties continues, former US presidential candidate Howard Dean will offer his opinions on who may succeed Barack Obama this November. Focusing on the implications for international relations, he will put forward his thoughts on what the election means for the global political order and liberal democracy in the 21st century.

This event is organized in association with Liberal International. Howard Dean accepted the invitation of LI President Dr Juli Minoves to offer Liberal International’s annual Isaiah Berlin Lecture.
