Overview

The partnership of strategic convenience between Moscow and Beijing has been pragmatic, calculated and constrained. Dr Lo will discuss the modalities of Russia’s relations with China and possible future developments. 

This event will mark the UK launch of his book A Wary Embrace: What the China-Russia Relationship Means for the World (Lowy Institute, 2017). Dr Lo will offer brief initial remarks, followed by an hour for questions and discussion.
