Welsh External Affairs Post-Brexit: Between Cardiff, Westminster and Brussels
Three months after the UK’s EU referendum result, there is still little clarity on the future relationship between the UK and the EU, in particular the role the devolved administrations will play in the Brexit negotiations.
Participants will discuss the main risks and opportunities involved in negotiating Brexit for Wales, including potential future models for Welsh trade relations and investment, Wales’ role in Europe post-Brexit, and securing its borders.
This workshop is part of a series on ‘the interrelationship of UK and EU foreign policy: costs and benefits’ led by Professor Richard Whitman and organized with the support of the European Social and Research Council (ESRC) under the auspices of its UK in a Changing Europe initiative.
Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
