Lieutenant General Mark Poffley will discuss what the British Army aims to do for the UK, and how its operations, structure and character are adapting to changing domestic and international requirements. He will outline the process of transformation since the end of combat operations in Afghanistan, and set out what more needs to be done in response to future political, economic and military pressures.
