Overview

This workshop will bring together international scholars, policy-makers, regional analysts and civil society representatives to discuss key aspects of the current conflict in Yemen. Participants will examine the key local, regional and international actors involved in Yemen’s war, analyse their agendas and evaluate incentives for continued violence or a mediated peace process. Each session will explore a key area in the conflict and speakers will offer insights into the key political interests and economic needs of each actor. This mapping exercise is intended to provide the basis for analysis of areas of potential agreement that could be developed to help resolve the increasingly complex conflict, and ultimately help build a sustainable peace.

Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
