Mathias Cormann’s five-year term as secretary-general of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) began in June 2021. As the OECD’s 6th secretary-general, his priorities include economic recovery in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring collaborative global leadership on effective climate action.

At this webinar, Mathias Cormann reflects on the key drivers behind the OECD’s goals for 2022. What progress has been made on global net-zero emissions targets? How is the OECD safeguarding its commitment to effective multilateralism? What more needs to be done to ensure equitable economic growth across the globe? And in what ways might these OECD priorities change in the coming year?

This event is only open to Chatham House Partners and Major Corporate Members as well as selected giving circles of Chatham House. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Linda Bedford.
