This roundtable meeting will examine the increasing permeability between military and development operations in US national security policy. Dr Brigety's work at the Center for American Progress focuses on the role of development assistance in US foreign policy. Prior to joining the Center, he served as a Special Assistant in the Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance at the US Agency for International Development. Dr Brigety is the author of Ethics, Technology and the American Way of War (Routledge, 2007).
