The purpose of the Procurement for Development Forum, co-convened by Chatham House and the Department for International Development, is to provide a setting for retailers, food importers and food processors to discuss pro-poor procurement and other practices, particularly with relevance to Africa.

This is the first meeting of the Procurement for Development Forum at Chatham House. This is primarily a scoping meeting and subsequent meetings will develop specific themes of the Forum in more detail.
