Whither Georgia: The Impact of Russian Actions since August 2008
The seminar aims to assess the implications of the events of August 2008 for conflict prevention and resolution efforts, and the impact on regional security. Key questions to be examined include: the immediate and longer-term causes of the conflict; Russia's current and future role; the implications for energy security; the wider regional impact of the conflict; policy recommendations and ways forward.
