Speaker: Dr Chi Schive, Chairman, Taiwan Stock Exchange



With the recent increase in dialogue between Taiwan and China about greater trade and transport links, this talk will review the negotiations so far and prospects for future dialogue.

In addition to serving as chairman of the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Dr Schive also serves as Adjunct Professor at the National Taiwan University. He has previously worked as the Vice Chairman of Taiwan's Council for Economic Planning and Development (1993-2000), and was Taiwan's Chief Negotiator in the General Agreement of Trades in Services with regards to WTO accession.
