Overview

India has been a significant partner of many African nations for a long time, so what will May's election results mean for Africa? Elizabeth Sidiropoulos and Alex Vines, co-editors of an 'India in Africa' special issue of the South African Journal of International Affairs (2008), will discuss whether Indian policy to Africa will change or remain static after the elections and what this means for India's African partners. Gareth Price will comment on the impact of the outcome of the elections on India's foreign policy.
