Transatlantic Regulatory Cooperation: Securing the Promise of Nanotechnologies
Nanotechnology will impact our lives on a global scale. Over the past year experts from Chatham House, the London School of Economics, Environmental Law Institute, and the Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, have been examining issues of transatlantic regulatory cooperation. Their research findings are to be published in a major report which will be launched at this international conference.
The conference will bring together regulatory experts from the US and EU. Its purpose is to discuss recommendations from this research effort but also to generate and examine new ideas that would enable greater transatlantic cooperation and convergence on nanotechnology oversight today and in the future.
Participation in the conference is by invitation only. Please send an email to Carmen Gayoso at [email protected] if you are interested in attending.
