The Future of Technology Cooperation for Climate Change

Chatham House in association with the Center for American Progress hosted an event in Washington DC as part of the Energy, Environment and Development Programme's project on Trade, Finance and Climate Change.

The meeting brought together forty selected participants from government, academia, business and civil society. Discussion ranged across topics such as North-South technology and knowledge-sharing arrangements, the role of intellectual property and mechanisms such as cross-licensing agreements, sectoral approaches to technology cooperation and different avenues for financing the scaling up of clean technologies.
