Scotland's First Minister, the Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP, MP will hold a media briefing for journalists in association with the Foreign Press Association and Chatham House.

Mr Salmond will outline the Scottish Government's plans for a referendum on Scotland's constitutional future, and speak about Scotland's place in the world.

The briefing comes ahead of the publication of a White Paper on the Referendum Bill on 30 November, St Andrew's Day.
