Overview

With the recent Indonesian Supreme court decision to reverse the 2007 libel conviction against Time magazine, press and individual freedom of expression in Indonesia have experienced significant developments as well as challenges. The speaker will discuss both these along with prospects for the future.

Isabelle Arradon has been working with Amnesty International on Southeast Asia since 2004. Previously she worked for Peace Brigades International in Indonesia.
