To mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Chatham House will hold a moderated discussion with individuals who played a leading role in the decisions that led to German reunification. The discussants will look back at their own personal experiences and describe the behind-the-scenes efforts which paved the way for this historic event. They will also consider how the decisions taken at that time have affected the subsequent course of European politics and integration.
