Achieving Ecological Sustainability through Increased Wealth Generation of a Reformed Common Fisheries Policy
This seminar will bring together experts and senior government representatives to debate the potential role of wealth-based approaches to fisheries management in the reform of the Common Fisheries Policy. It will draw on preliminary findings of research undertaken by IDDRA assessing potential economic benefits that may be generated through wealth-based management of UK fisheries. The meeting will also discuss policy options for adopting and delivering a wealth-based approach from UK and EU perspectives, informed by international experiences in the management of user rights.
Attendance at this event is strictly by invitation only.
