Tulegen Askarov, Kazakhstan's Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research



Dr Askarov will discuss the outlook for Kazakhstan's economy, including questions such as the practical implications of the customs union, as well as broader issues facing the country's government and people during the OSCE chairmanship year.

Dr Askarov is a journalist and independent economic observer. Dr Askarov has been on the board of the Soros Foundation, Kazakhstan since 2003, and was elected Board Chair in 2006.
