The Lord Garden Memorial Lecture: The 2010 General Election and its Implications
Overview
The speaker will explore how the new British government will address the major financial and political challenges it now faces. She will also discuss the impact of political change on Britain's international relations including the EU, the United States, and China.
This lecture is held in honour of Lord Garden, former Director of Chatham House and a foreign affairs, defence and security expert. Following a thirty-year career in the Royal Air Force, he pursued an active career in academia and the politics.
