HE Dan Mozena, United States Ambassador, Republic of Angola

Overview

During the US Secretary of State's visit to Angola in August 2009, Hillary Clinton described the two countries as 'partners, friends and allies'. Though Angola has sought to diversify its foreign relations, the US remains its most important trading partner. Ambassador Dan Mozena will speak about the bilateral relationship and the US vision for a strategic partnership with this growing major African power. The discussion will explore the prospects and challenges of such a relationship and Angola's future role in its region and in international relations.
