The speaker will discuss the adoption of the concept of national resilience in the ASEAN Charter by Indonesia and analyse its characteristics and relation to national goals stipulated in the Indonesian constitution.

Dr Muladi is the governor of the National Resilience Institute of Indonesia and specializes in criminal law, criminal justice system and human rights law. His previous role include terms as Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia (2000-2001), Vice Chairman of the Council of Security and Legal System Enforcement of the Republic of Indonesia (1999) and Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia (1998-1999).
