Overview

Ambassador Medina-Mora, former Attorney-General of Mexico, will give an update on the current state of the drug trafficking situation in the country, and its impact on regional and international security. He will assess domestic policy moves and how the international community can and needs to cooperate to tackle the problem. Can legalization of drugs, a welcome subject for debate internationally, help solve the problem? What would be the downsides and repercussions?
