Overview

Nigeria celebrated fifty years of independence on 1 October. At this event, hosted by the APPG on Nigeria, the speakers will discuss what needs to happen in Nigeria for it to reach its extraordinary potential including on its foreign relations and international support. The UK's bilateral relationship with Nigeria, its wider foreign relations and the domestic context will be the focus of presentations and discussions following.
