Zimbabwe is often in the news, and its problems are well known. However, it can be difficult to gain an accurate picture both of the massive challenges the country still faces and of the degree to which progress is being made. In this meeting UK Ambassador to Zimbabwe Mark Canning will offer his perspectives from the ground on current developments, and the UK Minister with responsibility for Africa, Henry Bellingham, will explain how UK policy can best engage with the uncertain progress under way. Dr Knox Chitiyo will respond and offer some insights of his own derived from his extensive expertise on Zimbabwe.
