What impact could various climate change scenarios have on the future practice of democracy in the UK and the US? To what extent are climate policy elites to blame for the difficulties that liberal democracies face in securing broad public support for decisive action on climate change? What practical steps or innovations could help to equip democracies effectively to respond to climate change? This event will debate these questions.

The event is being held in collaboration with the Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development.

Attendance is by invitation only.
