The speaker will set out her vision for politics in the Korean peninsula.

Choo Mi-Ae is a member of the National Assembly of South Korea. She belongs to the Democratic Party and represents the district of Gwangjin-gu in Seoul. She began her career as a judge and was first elected to the National Assembly in 1996. In 2003, she also served as a special envoy to the US on the North Korean Nuclear issue.
