A Diagnosis of Russia's Economic Health
Russia has rebounded from last year's deep recession, which caused the economy to shrink by 7.9%, with growth of 4% in the first half of 2010. Whilst the government continues to promote its modernization agenda, broader trends - degraded infrastructure, an ageing population, and over-reliance on oil revenues - raise doubts about Russia's long-term economic prospects. The speakers will discuss the state of Russia's economy, and its longer-term outlook.
Attendance is by invitation only.
