Overview

Jointly organised by Chatham House, the Embassy of Brazil and Imperial College, this seminar will present recent developments in Brazil regarding ILUC related issues, ethanol production, sustainability, and advancements in technology, as well as reflect on plans for the international expansion of biofuels production and prospects for CDM projects in developing countries.

This event follows on from a meeting organised by Chatham House and the Embassy of Brazil, Biofuels and Sustainability: Brazilian Perspectives, which took place in October 2008.
