As part of the World Energy Outlook 2010, the International Energy Agency has conducted an in-depth analysis of Caspian energy trends and the region's contribution to energy security. The focus of this study is on energy developments and perspectives in the main resource-holding countries - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. A broader regional perspective is also provided. Two of the authors will present the report, outlining the main findings, and providing projections for drivers of energy demand and supply under different scenarios to 2035.
