Mozambique's international and regional role is changing; a process that has been accelerated by emerging global powers becoming more competitive in their engagement in Africa. Mozambique's status as a gas exporter and future coal exporting country has further raised its international profile. HE Oldemiro Baloi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique, will discuss his country's developing role and will outline the diplomatic and economic policies of Mozambique.
