Populism and Right Wing Extremism in Eastern Europe

18 February 2011 - 12:00am

Chatham House, London

Hosted in partnership with the Centre for Liberal Strategies in Sofia, this seminar will examine populism and right-wing extremism in Eastern Europe. Featuring presentations on Hungary, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Romania and Poland, this event is the third in a series of four conferences organised by Chatham House and partners across Europe examining populist extremism in a pan-European context. Each event has focused on the causes of the rise of populist extremist parties and how mainstream political parties and civil society can respond.
