The Secretary of State will set out the scale of the challenge facing UK defence over the next decade and explain how the Strategic Defence and Security Review meets the strategic requirements of the country. He will argue that maintaining the UK's strategic reach and influence and protecting national security must be underpinned by a strong economy and adaptable military forces.
