The assassination in January 2011 of Governor Salmaan Taseer, who campaigned for the reform of Pakistan's blasphemy laws, has brought into focus the challenge posed to the rights of religious minorities in Pakistan. The writer and journalist, Shehrbano Taseer, will discuss her father's campaign and explain how it aims to curb the spread of religious extremism and abuse of human rights in Pakistan.
